Question 1

What copyright rules apply to this tool?

Accepted Answer

Use only lyrics, melodies, references, and voices you own or are authorized to use. Unauthorized copying or impersonation is prohibited. AI generation, covers, and audio separation do not clear third-party rights, and a BeatMuse commercial license does not license third-party material. Follow applicable AI-disclosure requirements when publishing. See the Terms of Service for restrictions and copyright reports; contact support@beatmuse.io with the work, disputed page link, and rights evidence.

Question 2

What is an AI song maker?

Accepted Answer

An AI song maker turns text or lyrics into music. BeatMuse also works as an AI music generator for instrumentals. Create tracks, compare returned variations, and save your favorites in your Library.

Question 3

Can I use the AI song maker for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. New accounts receive 10 welcome credits for supported models. The AI song maker shows the cost before submission. Free accounts can generate and listen; downloads require eligible paid access.

Question 4

Do I need to sign up to create a song?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Public examples are available without an account. Sign in to use the AI song maker, spend your credits, and save songs to your Library.

Question 5

Can the AI song maker use my own lyrics?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste original lyrics in Advanced mode, then describe the arrangement in the style field. Leave Instrumental off for vocals. Verse and Chorus labels help express your song’s structure.

Question 6

What genres can the AI song maker create?

Accepted Answer

Describe pop, rock, hip-hop, electronic, acoustic, or cinematic styles. Give the AI song maker a mood, tempo, and instruments, then compare the variations for the closest fit.

Question 7

Is AI-generated music copyright free?

Accepted Answer

AI generation alone does not make a track copyright free. Pro, Ultra, and successful credit-pack buyers can issue commercial-use licenses for eligible generated songs. Use only lyrics and audio you have permission to use.

Question 8

Can I use BeatMuse songs on YouTube?

Accepted Answer

For commercial projects, obtain the license available to eligible accounts for songs they generate. Keep it with your project records and check the current license terms before publishing.

Question 9

Can I download AI song maker tracks as MP3 or WAV?

Accepted Answer

Lite includes MP3. Pro, Ultra, and successful credit-pack buyers can download MP3 and WAV. Free-account generation does not include downloads.

Question 10

How do I write a better prompt for the AI song maker?

Accepted Answer

Start with one clear direction: a genre, mood, tempo, and two or three instruments. For example, try “warm acoustic pop, relaxed tempo, fingerpicked guitar, soft drums, and gentle vocals.” Give the AI song maker a consistent brief, then change one element at a time to compare the results.

Question 11

Why does the AI song maker return different song versions?

Accepted Answer

The same brief can produce different melodies, voices, and arrangements. BeatMuse saves each returned variation as a separate track, so you can compare the opening, chorus, and overall feel before choosing a favorite. An AI song maker request is charged at the displayed task price, rather than separately for each returned version.

Question 12

Can I keep editing an AI song maker result?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Save a track to your Library, then use compatible tools to extend it, try a cover arrangement, or add vocals or instrumental backing. Eligible accounts can also separate vocals and stems. Your AI song maker result remains available alongside its derived tracks, so you can explore a new direction without replacing the original.

Question 13

Will my AI song maker task continue if I leave the page?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A submitted task continues while you navigate away or refresh. Return to the AI song maker workspace to check its progress and hear completed tracks. You do not need to submit the same brief again simply because you left the page. Keep the finished versions you want to develop in your Library.
